Many Bridal Showers have been cancelled or postponed due to new social distancing guidelines. A virtual shower may not be exactly what you had in mind, but there are still plenty of ways for a bride to feel special and celebrated through a planned video call! 

Make some cute invitations and plan out a time that works for you and the girls. Sending out actual invitations will make your shower feel more realistic, plus crafting your invitations could be a fun quarantine DIY.  

1. For starters, find a cute virtual backdrop that you and your shower guests can use. Although you’re not together in real life, this will make your video chat feel more consistent and as if you were all in the same room. 

2. Bake! Get a group friendly recipe that you and your virtual shower attendees can all whip up together. Baking is a fun way to share laughs, fails, and masterpieces. 

3. Craft a custom cocktail! Come up with a tasty cocktail that you can all make and drink together! Another fun way to do this, is to have each person on your chat create a cocktail and share your recipes with one another, whoever has the best recipe can have their drink featured at the wedding! 

4. Open Presents! Just as you would at a normal Bridal Shower, open the presents on video chat with your loved ones. 

5. Indulge on the same food! Have a local restaurant deliver something delicious to your guests that everyone can enjoy during the call.

6. Play a game together! Who knows the to-be-weds best? Send out questions in advance and create a custom game, this is a great way to get everyone involved and share some laughs along the way!
