Following their “I Do” at the Grace Episcopal Church on “Cinco de Mayo”, Ellyn and Richard’s magical evening unfolded at Lowndes Grove. Among several hors d’oeuvres–and on par with the wedding’s date–guests enjoyed of chips & guac and margaritas along the waterfront of the Ashley River as they eagerly waited for the newly weds to join them in celebration. Especially captivating was the reception’s dark mahogany head table which featured an overhead installation by Petaloso with dramatic foliage, white and peach peonies and ranunculus, and blush pink/peach dahlias. A true statement piece! While the couples 4 tier wedding cake surely exceeded any sweet tooth’s expectations, the surprise violin performance to “Thinking out Loud” by Ed Sheeran that Richard dedicated to his bride was by far the sweetest way to end the night!
